RUINS OF THE OLD CATHEDRAL AT MONTFAUCON This is the highest point west of the Meuse. In 1914 the Crown Prince stood in the tower of this old Cathedral and watched his armies' furtherest advance. Now on the slopes of this hill is the sight of the largest cemetery of the A. E. F.
